Privacy, Confidentiality and Consent

All material that passes between us will be confidential within GreenWood Mentors Ltd. Please see our data protection and data retention policies for details of how your information will be stored in accordance with GDPR UK. GreenWood is an association of highly qualified and experienced clinicians who meet together regularly to discuss cases and work. Your first name will be used in these discussions, so that you can benefit from all our expertise as a group.

The only exceptions to this confidentiality are:

If you say you have abused a child or vulnerable adult; if you are in danger of harming yourself or someone else; if you have committed a serious crime.

In these cases, the relevant authorities (your GP, police, etc.) in your country will be informed. We will do our best to get your consent before disclosing information, but if we cannot do so we may decide to break confidentiality in the interests of safety.

Session Recording and Sharing

We would like to record online sessions for various purposes. The Privacy, Confidentiality and Consent Agreement offers you options as to whether you consent to this or not.

Payment and Cancellation Terms and Conditions

Payment must be made before or immediately after each session or on occasion for sets of sessions. Failure to pay may result in our cancelling future sessions until payment is received. If you are facing challenges in paying please let your therapist know we may be able to help.

Cancellations by the client should be made with at least 48 hours’ notice before the session. Cancellations made 24-48 hours before will incur half the session charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur full charge.
