We specialise in integrating Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). Our supervision also covers trauma work, personality-level interventions, dissociation, and neurodiversity—including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)—and how these conditions interact with mental health. Additionally, we provide supervision focused on children, young people, and families.
Therapy Approaches We Supervise
GreenWood Mentors offers supervision across a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches. We provide structured guidance to support both clinical practice and professional development:
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) – supervision can contribute towards accreditation with BABCP and BACP.
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) – including consultation and supervision for ongoing practice.
Clinical Areas Covered in Supervision
Our supervision spans a wide range of clinical presentations, helping therapists navigate complex and challenging cases with confidence:
- Dissociative Disorders: Depersonalisation Disorder (DPD), Somatisation (conversion) Disorder, Fugue States, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
- Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)
- Other Trauma-Related Conditions: Borderline Personality Disorder (Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex PTSD, Autism/ASD with associated mental health issues such as anxiety or relationship difficulties.
Integrative Clinical Supervision
Our CBT+ Third Wave approach provides flexible, evidence-informed supervision that supports all aspects of clinical work. For therapists interested in “parts work,” including Chair Work, Schema Mode, or Internal Family Systems (IFS), we offer a CBT+ rooted method for assessing, formulating, and working with different self-states using the D-ISS scale.
Mentoring, Coaching, and Research Supervision
In addition to clinical supervision, we provide mentoring and coaching supervision that is both clinically informed and organisationally/systemically aware. We also offer research supervision for Clinical Doctorate programs and can support organisations incorporating research into practice, including international initiatives.
Accreditation and Professional Standards
GreenWood Mentors is accredited by leading professional bodies, ensuring that our supervision meets the highest standards of clinical and ethical practice:
